Liver Cancer
The most common
form of liver cancer is hepatocellular carcinoma,
which originates in liver cells called hepatocytes.
This form accounts for 75 percent of all primary
liver cancers. The American Cancer Society estimates
that physicians will diagnose more than 17,000 new
cases of liver cancer in the United States each
year.
